OvoBoost™ is a highly soluble, taste & texture neutral protein powder designed for seamless integration into food and beverages. It can be used to enhance protein content or function as an emulsifier for high fat applications like creamy condiments and dressings.

Are EVERY’s proteins available to consumers?

EVERY is a B2B ingredient company working with ingredient suppliers and food and beverage brands of all sizes. We don’t sell directly to consumers, but visit our News page to get the latest on product launches from our partners.

Why did you choose egg proteins?

Egg proteins are one of the most versatile ingredients and an irreplaceable element in making countless mass-market products. After learning that just one of the over 150 proteins found in an egg was responsible for the majority of its functionality as an ingredient, we knew we could help food manufacturers around the world make the same high quality, nutritious food by harnessing the power of just one protein.

Do you make an animal-free liquid egg?

At our core, we are a B2B ingredient company. For now, we’re focused on making and scaling production of our powdered protein ingredients to supply our customers.

Are your proteins vegan?

Yes. OvoPro™ and OvoBoost do not contain any animal inputs and are both certified vegan by The Vegan Society. 

Can consumers with an egg allergy consume products made with OvoPro™ and OvoBoost™?

No, OvoPro™ and OvoBoost™ are not suitable for those with egg allergies. 

Are your proteins Kosher and/or Halal?

Yes, our proteins and facilities are Kosher and Halal certified.

Are your proteins plant-based?

No, we create animal protein (without the animal) which is different from plant-based protein. Even though no animal is used or harmed in our precision fermentation process, the end result is bio-equivalent to a conventional chicken egg protein. 

Are your proteins cell-based (or cell-cultured)?

Our proteins are not cell-based. As the name suggests, cell-based products require a physical animal cell to grow protein. Our precision fermentation process does not use animal cells and instead taps into a DNA library, which contains the genetic codes necessary to make animal proteins – without the animal.

How does your protein appear on ingredient declarations?

Final labeling decisions are made by our customers, but we recommend listing our proteins as “egg white protein” or “animal-free egg protein.”

Are EVERY’s ingredients safe to eat?

Yes. Precision fermentation is a safe and proven technique that has been used in the food, pharmaceutical, and beauty industries for decades. Some common products that are made using precision fermentation include rennet (found in most store-bought cheese), insulin, and vitamin supplements (B2, B12, and C).

Are EVERY®’s ingredients FDA approved?

Yes, EVERY has received no objections letters from the FDA for both OvoPro™ and OvoBoost™. Both ingredients are Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS) by the FDA.
